The Workers
The members of the two teams were Helen Bachman (Team Leader) with Nelson Brewington and John Parott; and Jim Brewington (Team Leader) with Brian Page and Karen Sahlin-all from Orange County, California. The teams unfastened, retrieved, and hauled out anything salvageable from the devastated homes of four families in Granite Falls.
Nelson Brewington, with a hefty assist from Brian Page, retrieves a potholder impaled by debris far above Vern and Donna Schewe's ravaged kitchen.	Minnesota Speaker of the House of Representatives, Steve Sviggum, who joined the Acts of God teams, works with Jim Brewington to load a storm door onto a flatbed trailer for transport with other usable items to the Just family's farm. They stand in what was once the Just's garage.
