Tornado Kansas City

More tornados struck the United States during the week of May 4, 2003, than another week in recorded history. The greater Kansas City area was multiply hit by destructive twisters. An Acts of God team from Orange County, California responded to the home of Robert Cantrell in Kansas City, Kansas. Helen Bachman, Nelson Brewington, Ken Koseki, Skip Barland, and Jim Brewington carried the remaining house debris and destroyed contents to the curb, recovered keepsakes, and covered the house's platform with protective plastic tarps. Financial assistance was provided, and a friendship was formed. The pictures tell the story.

"Bob Cantrell is Rebuilding! The tornados left only the basement and the foundation. They will now support a new home – and a new beginning.”
